So on Monday night my work had a fire. Boy, has life been busy and hectic since. Between clean-up, buying a few days with customers, dealing with customers who don't care that your shop almost burnt down, and getting everything organized with insurance, cataloguing all your losses and arranging for the fire restoration crews to come in and start doing their thing, I've been busy and stressed. The good news is that we pretty much back up and operational and they will be able to start cleaning today. They expect to be done before the end of next week, which means that some time in the new year the painting and renovations that need to happen will be done. Originally they thought we might be out of their for 6 weeks, now we're hoping for less. We'll have to see. I'll try and write more later.

Yikes dude. That sounds serious. Did it happen during the day or during the night? How did it start?
I can't decide which I would hate more. Water damage or fire damage. Blarg.
Glad no one was hurt and things are on track. Also I think there should be a "selfish fee" tacked onto the bill of all your customers who gave you a hard time.
