Wheels and Tires and Tires and Wheels!!!

Okay, so last post was about how I ordered some wheels and tires. Well after I placed my order I was told that it would be about 3 weeks for my wheels (rims) to arrive. So I waited 3 weeks and then e-mailed for a status on my order. The guy then told me that production in mainland China has slowed down and it would be at least another 30-45 days until the wheels arrived. So we researched some alternatives and he was not able to get me anything else that I liked. So I was back to square one. July is around the corner and I still didn't have any wheels for my 300. So kudos to the guys at www.wheelwarehouse.com as they were good and quick about giving my money back, I just wish they would have given me a heads up about availability before they took my money. That way I wouldn't have wasted nearly 4 weeks unnecessarily.

After some research online, searching out some different stores, asking the guys at www.300forumz.com and finding out that a buddy of mine used this place out of Surrey, I placed an order with www.kxwheels.com. My wheels are in stock in LA so I won't have to wait too long for them. And being a BC company I won't have to pay duty on my order =). So this is what I ordered:

4 x DBL G "The 105" Chrome w/ Black Insert
4 x Falken STZ 04 265/35/22
and the full mounting package with locking lugs etc shipped and to my door.

I spent a lot more than I originally intended but I am going to have a very nice and very unique wheel for my car (which makes me happy inside).

Here's some pics.

Didn't your car come with tires? Ripped off.

Dude, are you also going to get hydraulics installed? Per my understanding, that is what the ladies dig (though you may just need to check with Cindy on that).

No, but I will probably get a new set of springs on it to lower it. I have to see what it looks like with the new shoes first =)

I think your car needs more neon. Oh and a paint job of a topless Valkyrie riding a polar bear caring a flaming sword. That would be sweet.
