Ugh..........

So last weekend I went and tried the PARE as practice. And it didn't go so well....... I've been really struggling to stay motivated to keep going as it just feels like all the hard work I've put in so far is for naught. I will keep you all posted on how things go from here. I am going to see if I can actually get my ass out of bed in the morning and go running outside and do stairs etc to try and improve on my cardio. Hopefully deep within me I find the strength. If I'm quite, haven't called or otherwise seem distant. It's most likely because a) I have been super busy and b) because I'm embarrassed and discouraged and not sure what to do with myself.

Hey dude,

I can certainly relate to the frustration you feel. But if it was easy then no one would have issues with exercise/weight. Everyone would be happy and healthy and all that crap. However that isn't the case, and until we develop new habits (which take time) we have to struggle with it. =(

The one advantage you have is that this is for your future career. You've found something you WANT to do. Something you're excited to do. There are millions of people that don't even have that. Use that excitement to help motivate you. The end goal isn't how many workouts you've done in a week. The end goal is being accepted by the police and the exercise is just a path to lead you to that goal.

Or something.
